Although I am excited to move to CT, I am also devastated to lose our AMAZING nanny. And I am on a mission to find her a lovely family to work with before we leave. I am working through a variety of ways to find her a new position but I figured I would post this on my blog just in case someone out there in Manhattan or Brooklyn needs a nanny.
She has been with us for almost 2 years since Charlotte was 6 months old. She is dedicated, punctual, loving, highly flexible, and proactive. But the most important quality is her trustworthiness. We never worry about Charlotte when she is in our nanny’s care. Charlotte runs to the front door with delight when our nanny arrives each morning. She also helps with light house-keeping (mainly baby-related) which is a total god-send for a working Mum. She has been instrumental in teaching Charlotte everything from good manners to making animal sounds. And she is excellent at pulling Charlotte’s hair into all sorts of cute hairstyles – way better at it than me! Today she sent me this photo from the playground in Central Park and I managed to count three pig-tails.

Oh, and if any of you know how I can find a new nanny in Greenwich without paying exorbitant agency fees please let me know!
